Alpinism

Alpinism is about passion, skill andobsession for me.

My latest dreams have taken me to pursue the very large and remote alpine climbs of the Canadian Rockies.

My previous obsessions have found me on the walls of the Ruth Gorge, Alaska, the Chalten Massif of Patagonia, the most remote walls of Queen Maud Land, Antarctica, the forgotten South Face of Mt. Kenya and all across the alps and all winter long in Colorado!

I have won grants from the American Alpine club for expeditions to the south face of K2, received accolades from Rock and Ice Magazine’s Silver anniversary edition for Imperfect Apparition (with Jack Tackle) on Mt. Huntington’s Phantom Wall  as one of the top 100 routes done in the past 25 years and suffered cold bevies on the Rupal Face and South face of Nuptse!

The passion burns strong even after 20+ years!
